Show your photos at their best!

Your iPhone or iPod touch is really great to carry your photos with you, but isn’t it a little too small to show these photos to other people?

Just start Pix’Air on your iPhone or iPod touch, and show your photos to friends or family on any screen in the same WiFi network: computers, iPads, or internet-enabled devices, all can display outstanding slideshows of your photo albums in a standard web browser.

Using Pix’Air built-in controls, you can directly pilot the display of your photos on the other device using the comfortable touch-based interface of your iPhone or iPod touch. Of course you can also use the computer’s mouse or keyboard to navigate in the photo album. Or just start the automatic slideshow mode, admire the photos and relax!

One of Pix’Air unique feature is its ability to pilot the synchronized display of photos on multiple devices or computer windows. Several client web browsers can be connected to a same Pix’Air photo album at once, and all of them will display the same photo at the same time; moreover from each connected browser you can control the photo navigation at any time.

Pix’Air can also detect - and display - the photo albums shared by other iOS devices running the application on the same WiFi network. Photo albums played in Pix’Air take full benefit of the Retina Display on devices supporting it.

How does Pix’Air work?

Pix’Air use the latest HTML 5 technologies to achieve the best presentation for your photos and display them with gorgeous 2D and 3D transition effects. As most browsers have now a decent support for those technologies, Pix’Air photo albums can be displayed - at your convenience - in Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera or IE (8 or 9).

Starting a photo album is really easy: you need to be connected to the same WiFi network as the computer that will display the photos; then just pick a set of photos (album, event or face) in Pix’Air and copy the address displayed into the computers web browser. That’s it! The selected photos appear in the browser and their resolution is automatically adjusted to the browser’s window size in order to display them with the highest possible quality.
Various 2D and 3D transitions are inserted between photos. These transitions are automatically adapted to to the web browser’s graphical capabilities. Transitions can be configured or deactivated using Pix’Air setting screen.

Notes:
- Pix’Air is not a file sharing utility, i.e. Pix’Air does not allow the copy of photos to or from a computer
